They made money from advertising and selling videos.

Paypal will no longer support payouts from Pornhub. According to Vice, because of this, more than one hundred thousand authors of videos have lost their source of income.

Pornhub is a video hosting service where users can upload videos and monetize them. Due to Paypal leaving, the authors of the video will have to switch to other payment methods.

Paypal explained that they decided to stop working after Pornhub “made certain business payments” without their permission. The service has taken steps to avoid such transactions. In addition, the company’s rules prohibit “sexually oriented services and materials”. Reporters suggested the company specifically uses ‘fuzzy’ language.

As a solution to the problem, Pornhub representatives suggested users to use the Paxum e-wallet and Verge cryptocurrency. Also, the developers promised in the near future to explore more options for payment, including cryptocurrency.
